Summer is coming soon, which is great! Sadly, along with summer comes sweat. Who wants their face to look oily and cakey? Definitely not me! Most foundations are very thick and tend to "melt" off your face. Even the lightest and creamiest foundations are thick compared to tinted moisturizers. Most people complain that tinted moisturizers don't give enough coverage but thats not true if you choose the right one. Some people mix foundation with their moisturizer but thats just a waste especially when there are a lot of affordable tinted moisturizers. So here are the tinted moisturizers that I have tested out and that I love!

Okay, guys I know what you're thinking "Ugh, here she goes again with another lame excuse..." but this time its a good excuse ;) I'm sorry I haven't posted the reviews I promised you guys but heres the thing...

My boyfriend proposed and I'm getting MARRIED !!! He is the love of my life and words cannot describe how happy I am when I'm with him! I've been so busy with all of the chaos of planning the wedding! I'll explain more as soon as I can but I have to meet with him and our wedding planner right now!

Hey lovelies! Sorry about my little hiatus :) Its the same excuse over and over again: I'm busy. Now that school is starting again I don't even have time to do the things I love anymore like shopping, blogging, etc. GASP! I know :) Hopefully the blog will be back to its regular schedule. Thank you to the 33 of you who didn't give up on me, I am forever grateful. Before I go I want to FINALLY post the picture of my Juicy Couture watch. If you go back to previous posts I told you guys about my (then) new Juicy watch that I fell in love with...last year lol. Drumroll please...

How to: A Simple, Natural, Pretty Look

Hello beauties! Today, I'm going to show you step by step how to achieve a pretty yet natural look.

Step1: "I'm going to start with a fresh, clean face."

The easiest way to make your skin look fresh, gleaming, and natural is with a good tinted moisturizer.

How: Choose a good tinted moisturizer that won't make you look like a greaseball if you have oily skin and show your dry patches if you have dry skin. Every skin type needs a different tinted moisturizer. If you have a lot of acne scars and uneven skin tone its better to go with a tinted moisturizer with a medium to heavy coverage. If you younger and don't have that much acne scars then opt for a lighter coverage.

Step 2: "Next, I'm going to erase those dark circles"

All you need is some concealer, liner, and mascara. No need for any eyeshadow.

Get your favorite concealer and dab some on those dark circle, don't forget to blend well. Apply some black line on your upper lashes only so it looks more natural. Then, add some mascara.

Step 3: "Oh stop it! Your making me blush!"

Go for a bright, mousse-like blush, it looks more natural. No cream because it will make you look like a greaseball. No powder because it is way too heavy and looks more unnatural.

Take some of that mousse-like blush and dab it onto the apple of your cheeks. Smile to locate them. Blend upward toward the temples.

Step 4: "Gimme my lip stuff!"

Absolutely no lip gloss, way to shiny. Not natural at all. No lipstick either, too cakey. We are aiming for a sheer lip liner and some tinted lip balm.

Line you lips with a sheer pencil and then dab on some of that tinted balm to enhance you lip color.

Step 5: Get ready for the compliments!

People are obviously going to comment on how great you skin looks with no makeup or how you have practically no dark circles. But of course you know the secret ;)

Glamour Tip #1: Vaseline

Vaseline may be just petroleum jelly but this little product can do many things. some of you might already know some of these tips but for those who don't I hope this helps you. Here are some simple and easy ways to use it:

1.) Exfoliate Slather some Vaseline onto your lips, take a toothbrush and brush it onto your lips. Don't brush to hard but just enough to remove the dead skin cells on your lips. It can be a regular toothbrush or an electric one. This makes your lips softer.

2.) Restore or Renew and make into lip gloss or shiny cream shadow. If you have any cracked or unwanted blush or eyeshadow why not use them for something else? Get a dish/bowl and squirt some Vaseline into it. Then, take your cracked/unwanted eyeshadow/blush and mix it with the Vaseline. You can add more pigments for the intensity of the color, if you want. Mix thoroughly using a plastic spoon and make sure there are no chunks of eyeshadow/blush left. Test the color out and see if you like it. Then scoop it up with a spoon and transfer it to a small jar, etc. For the jar if you used the mineral eyeshadow/blush like this:

Then just take the sifter out of the jar and place the lip gloss/shiny cream eyeshadow in there.

That's all I have for now but if I find any more uses for Vaseline I will do an update. Hope this helped you guys!

Lately pretty much every nail polish brand is coming out with matte nail polishes, in my recent post I blogged about OPI coming out with matte polishes too. Zoya's MatteVelvet comes in three colors:

Sephora/MAC Haul

Hello again! I finally had time to put up my haul! Yay! :) I bought all of this about a week ago I think when Sephora had the Beauty Insiders sale. So here is what I got:

1.) MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly. In the second picture: It is the one in the 3rd row, second last. I like to use this as a base sort of. It is a light creamy nude beige-ish color. US $16.50

2.) MAC's Eyebrow Pencil in Spiked. It is a rich brunette brown color. Defines my eyebrows very well. I couldn't find a picture but if you click on the link above it will show you the eyebrow penicil in that shade. US $14.50

3.) MAC's Dazzleglass from the Double Dazzle Collection in Baby Sparks. It is a pale pink with violet pearl. Not much color but the Dazzleglasses are so sparkly though and you all know I love anything that involves glitter. US $18.00

4.) MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish from the Sugarsweet Collection in Refined. It is a tan/peach/coral melange. Perfect bronzer and it gives your face a nice glow. I couldn't find an exact picture so just click on the link above. You MUST MUST MUST get this! This is the PERFECT highlighter ever and it compliments my skin tone! Probably one of my favorite products ever! US $27.00

5.) MAC's Eye Shadow in Moon's Reflection. It is a blue with white pearl (Veluxe Pearl). Very nice color. US $14.50

6.) MAC's Eye Shadow in Naked Lunch. This is a back up because I love it so much! It is a minimal pink with shimmer (frost). US $14.50

7.) MAC's Lip Conditioner SPF 15 from the Hello Kitty Collection in Pink Fish. This is also a backup and I love it! Right now this is my substitute for the Tendertones! Argh, I'm waiting for the Tendertones to be repromoted and buy them all! :) It is a soft neutral pink. Isn't the packaging SO cute? US $14.50

8.) Sephora Brand Microfiber Headband Description on website: "The Sephora Headband is made of Aquitex, a super absorbent material woven from ultra-fine microfibers that wick moisture away from skin more thoroughly than other fabrics. This adjustable headband gently holds hair in place while cleansing the skin or applying makeup."US $11.00

9.) Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin. My lids are super oily so this is perfect! US $17.00 Site description:

A best-selling eyeshadow primer potion in a shimmering champagne color.
What it does:

QUICK TIP: If you have the Primer Potion with the original tip then once you can't get any more product out take a knife and cut it in half. You will be surprised at how much of the product is left in there. Take a smaller knife and scoop all of it out and store it in a MAC empty pigment container or any other container you have lying around. Now if you have the new (and improved!) Primer Potion with the slanted tip then you don't have to do all of that. Hope this helped you!

You all know that I love to splurge on stuff and save at the same time. Now, that is completely easy to do. I found this out from Temptalia. As the title says my new favorite website to splurge on is Gilt it is similar to Hautelook and ideeli (I mentioned them in previous posts.) but they have better stuff and another thing I love- the "waiting list"! I hate waiting and I am definitely impatient but the thing I love about their "waiting list" is that if something I want is sold out I can enter in the waiting list and I still might be able to buy it. Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted anything for a long time and I'm sorry. My life is really hectic right now and I'm trying to work everything out. I promised you guys on Twitter that I would post something up and here it is. This is a review for the GHD hair straightener. I had one a couple of months ago and I let my mom borrow it and she loved it so much that I gave it to her. I never really got around buying another one until a couple of days ago. I was watching one of TiffanyD's videos on YouTube and I found out that if you buy one on Beauty Choice and you enter the PROMO CODE "TIFFANYDGHD" at checkout you will receive a FREE HAI SST Ionic Tourmaline Hair Dryer added to your cart automatically. This is an obvious value because the hair dryer is $98.95. This hair straightener is a little pricey ($240.00) but it is definitely worth it. I like this better then the CHI hair straightener. It beeps when you turn it on and when it is ready. This is very useful when you are on the go or in a rush because it heats up very quickly. MAC Sugarsweet Goodies!

Hey everyone!! I just wanted to show you guys what I got from the MAC Sugarsweet collection. I've had the picture above as my image for the longest time ever and I was waiting for it to come out. I was so excited that I was practically counting the days until it came out. The MAC store nearest to me had the collection a day before it actually came out. You guys should have seen me, the minute I got in the store I was like a little kid in a candy store hehe. Here is what I got:

1.) MAC lipstick in Lollipop Loving, $14.00. This came out with the Heatherette Collection and was repromoted. The color is sort of a pink-ish coral and it is very sheer.

2.) MAC Tricolor lipglass in Tasty, $17.50. I love this product so much but the only thing I didn't like was how when you pull the wand out the stopper practically wiped the whole thing off so I had to dip it in 3-4 times until I finally got the amount I wanted on my lips. But the cool thing was how the colors didn't mix in the tube no matter what I did. All of the tricolor glosses are sort of clear with a hint of color. The packaging is adorable!

4.) MAC Nail Laquer in Peppermint Patti, $11.00. This came out the same time that the Hello Kitty Collection came out. Wintergreens/limes and grays are very in this year so I went to go get this nail polish. This is a minty sort of color and is soo cute.

My New Juicy Couture Watch Has Finally Arrived!

Everybody who knows me knows that I heart Juicy Couture. Juicy Couture is one of my most favorite brands ever. A couple of weeks ago I had a poll and pretty much everyone wanted me to get this one. Just a few minutes ago my watch came from my good friend FedEx. One thing I'd like to point out, Juicy Couture packaging is "a-door-a-ball"! The first thing I thought when I saw the watch was I have to make a blog about this! Okay maybe that wasn't the first thing I thought but close enough haha. I also have a sort of matching wallet that is really cuh-yoot too. I'll try to post up some pictures of it. I just got a new camera and I'm still setting it up etc. and I don't have any time right now because my girlfriends and I are getting ready for a party. Yay! They are demanding me to do their makeup :)

I was looking at some beauty websites and blogs when I came upon Cherry Culture and I found out there is a big sale going on. I usually don't buy from Cherry Culture that much but they had some NYX cosmetics on sale for very, very low prices. Chanel mini haul! No. 1 (Merry Christmas Eve!)

Merry almost Christmas everybody! Since its the holidays I decided to treat myself with some early gifts and I'm going to share them with you guys. If you didn't already know lipgloss is one of my favorite makeup products to spend on. And one of my favorite lipglosses is Chanel's Glossimer in Rose Sand and Bronze Crystal #177.

I also got Chanel's Powder Blush in Orchid Rose. This it's shade on the website and here is a picture of it.

Yes, I said Mac Haul No. 1 because the will be a lot more coming! I was online shopping on Mac's website and here is what I got.
